Severin Huemer-Kals
Doktoratsstudent
In my doctoral thesis at the Institute of Automotive Engineering at Graz University of Technology I am engaged in the analysis and evaluation of low-frequency brake noise. What I appreciate most about this is probably the opportunity to develop my skills in a wide field. Besides topics in structural simulation, where I was able to gain experience for many years, I am currently engaged in measurements on our half-axle test bench and in issues of signal processing.
Not only during my professional career but also in my private life I am fascinated by acoustics and the dynamics of moving bodies. I enjoy playing the trumpet and competitive ballroom dancing in my off time. With suitable weather or good snow conditions you can also find me in the Austrian mountains.
